Classic Meatloaf with a Twist


1 pound of ground beef
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
1/4 cup of milk
1 egg
1/4 cup of ketchup
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 cup of crumbled feta cheese


Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix together the beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Stir in the feta cheese.
Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until cooked through.
Let the meatloaf cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Grilled Salmon with Lemon and Thyme


4 salmon fillets
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 lemon, sliced
4 sprigs of fresh thyme

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss the pasta with the sauce and serve immediately.

1 whole chicken
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1 teaspoon of dried rosemary
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
4 carrots, peeled and chopped
4 parsnips, peeled and chopped
4 potatoes, peeled and chopped


Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Rub the mixture all over the chicken.
Arrange the chopped vegetables in a large roasting pan.
Place the chicken on top of the vegetables.
Roast the chicken for 1-1 1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before carving and serving with the roasted vegetables.
