1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
8-10 slices bacon


Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, onion, green pepper, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Add reserved pasta water to the skillet and stir to thin the sauce slightly.
